Situated in the heart of Jeddah, Petromin was first established as Petrolube, in 1968, through a Royal Decree as a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Exxon Mobil.
Al-Dabbagh Group acquired Petromin, a respected family conglomerate in the region. Petromin became one of the leading mobility solutions providers in the region.
Today, our diverse team brings its united passion for technology, innovation and quality to achieve one goal – mobility for all. One of the notable milestones during this period was the expansion of Petromin's operations to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Morocco, and Pakistan.
1968
Saudi Aramco joins hands with Exxon Mobil through a Royal Decree, laying the foundation for what would become Petromin.
1969
Petrolube comes into being — marking the official launch of the company's operations.
1992
Petrolube expands its footprint into Egypt, beginning its journey as a regional mobility leader.
2007
Al-Dabbagh Group (ADG) joins forces with Gulf Oil to acquire Petrolube.
2012
Launches its first Fuel Station in Saudi Arabia.
2013
- Al-Dabbagh Group fully acquires Petrolube
- Inaugurates first Petromin Express in KSA as 'Gulf Express'
2015
Expands Petromin Express' footprint to Egypt.
